Our ice fishing season is off to a great start. Cold temperatures have created a 8 to 12 inch base on Vermont's lakes. Snow has been an issue in the past few weeks. 10 to 12 inches of snow have made getting on and off the lakes a struggle. Even one man flip shanties like mine shown here are difficult to move around. We were here on Lake Dunmore this week, but there is a lot more snow than shown in the picture here. Lake Dunmore supports all the game fish including lake trout and salmon. As always we will see you on the water.
